I was lucky enough to be included in Rogue Magazine's recent feature on the Top 16 Illustrators in the Philippines today. Hope you can buy yourself a copy since a lot of the other featured artists are really amazing, some of which I also follow myself. This is where I was asked to work on a self-portrait, that's why I did mine months ago, and the full transcript of the interview is viewable in Rogue's site.

Crap. Typhoon Ondoy / Ketsena kicked us hard on the ass. Much of Manila was flooded, and although rescue efforts are finally getting somewhere now, a lot of people are still spending time on their roofs, waiting for help. Our hearts go out to all the Pinoys severely affected by Typhoon Ondoy. Ondoy dropped 455mm of rainfall in the span of 24 hours, almost double that of Hurricane Katrina (250mm). If there's anyone who can see this through, it's us Filipinos, we can do this. Don't lose hope! For our part, we are going out today to do groceries and buy basic utilities that we can donate to Sagip Kapamilya, a foundation that will then deliver
